Julian Ware-Lane is 'shocked and appalled' at the incident in Manchester last night

22 people were killed in Manchester as a bomb was set off at the end of a Ariana Grande concert last night (Monday, May 22) in what looks like a terror attack.

Southend West Labour candidate, Julian Ware-Lane, has expressed his shock and outrage. "This is a shocking and appalling incident, and my thoughts are with those that were caught up in it, and their family and loved ones".

"The terrorists must not be allowed to win. They seek to disunite us and disrupt with our lives; yet we unite after these sorts of incidents. Our democracy continues to flourish, and we remain a free an tolerant society in spite of their worst endeavours".
