Try
as they might, the Liberal Democrats cannot get away from two poor results in
Southend last June. In Southend West the Lib Dems lost their deposit (for the
first time ever).
Leigh
ward is in Southend West, and last June the Liberal Democrats were wiped out as
two-party politics hit Southend West for the first time in many a year. Will
the Liberal Democrats be able to recover enough to hold on here, in Leigh ward?
I doubt it. The Labour candidate is doing very well, and the Tories appear
quietly confident.
A dodgy bar-chart |
If
voters in Leigh ward really want their vote to count then I would encourage
them to support Michelle Williams
