Thames Estuary Path Clean Up

This morning something like thirty of us participated in the Thames Estuary Path Clean Up. This was centred on a car park opposite the waste facility on Leigh marshes.
We start

There was a significant amount of rubbish collected, especially as this is an area with no housing, not much at all side from being proximate to the waste disposal facility. It is an area much frequented my dog walkers, nature lovers and the like, as well as commuters who use Leigh-on-Sea rail station.

Liberal Democrat, Green, Labour
There were representatives from at least three political parties - Green, Liberal Democrats, Labour. I felt a bit under-dressed as the Greens and Lib Dems wore apparel with their party identifiers. Next time perhaps I will wear my rosette!
