This bench needs repairing. Additionally, there used to be a tree and a planter here that made this little corner of Milton ward an attarctive place of repose.
I hope I can persuade the powers that be to put back what was once here. Benches are an underrated public resource and there absence can mean that the less able are less likely to venture outdoors. Also, even the fit will sometimes want for a place to watch the world go by.
As for trees and planters, I do not think I have to remind anyone of the needs of our feathered friends and smaller creatures. Our lives are enriched by greenery too.
