Stoke-on-Trent Central

Stoke-on-Trent Central, 1992 - 2015

Whatever your feelings about Labour's policies and direction in the nineties, this chart illustrates why it was a golden era in terms of elections.

This chart shows the percentage of votes cast for each major party in elections in Stoke-on-Trent Central from 1992-2015.

Whilst three different parties have held the runners-up spot, only Labour has been victorious. I hope this continues in tomorrow's by-election.

In 1997 Labour attracted 66.2% of the vote. In 2010 this had gone down to 38.8%, marginally improving five years later to 39.3%
