Cllr Gilbert backs Julian Ware-Lane for Southend West

Cllr Ian Gilbert with Julian Ware-Lane

 The Leader of the Labour Group on Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has backed Julian Ware-Lane as the best choice for voters in Southend West in this June's general Election.

Julian Ware-Lane is seeking to replace Sir David Amess on June 8th; Julian stood in 2015 and came second.

Cllr Gilbert said: "Julian is a hard-working councillor, and I am certain he would be equally hard-working as a Member of Parliament. I have worked with Julian for many years and he has demonstrated all the skills required to be a Member of Parliament."

"Julian is committed to the town he was born in. His ability and track record of campaigning make him the best choice for Southend West".
